How this auction works
01 Automatic bidding & privacy
Enter the highest amount you are willing to pay, excluding tax. We bid automatically up to that limit. If two limits are equal, the limit accepted first takes priority.
Under our normal auction rules, bids are binding and cannot be reduced or withdrawn. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected; see our Terms of Use. Your bidder ID stays the same for this auction and changes between auctions.
02 Timing & last-minute bids
The start day does not count. Auctions end at 14:00 UTC on the fifth following weekday (Monday–Friday, including public holidays).
A bid that changes the public price or leading bidder in the final 5 minutes extends the auction to 5 minutes after that bid. This can repeat. Raising only your own leading limit does not extend the auction.
03 Bid increments
| Current price | Increment |
|---|---|
| Under $100 | $5 |
| $100–$499.99 | $10 |
| $500–$999.99 | $25 |
| $1,000–$4,999.99 | $100 |
| $5,000–$9,999.99 | $250 |
| $10,000 and above | $500 |
Maximum bids must be positive whole USD amounts. A leading bidder may raise their private maximum by $1 or more.
